NAACP Family,

We cannot overemphasize the importance of joining the ranks of the oldest and largest civil rights organization in the world - the NAACP!  Why?  I am glad that you asked and the answer is simple.  Our ancestors fought, and some even died fighting for freedom, justice and equality - the very liberties that we now enjoy!  Just think of the passion, courage and determination exemplified by thousands of likeminded individuals who dared to galvanize for a cause, risking their very lives in defense of the values that they held so dear!  The struggle for them is actually no different than the one that we all face today.  They paid it forward for us and we must do the same for future generations!    It is, therefore crucial that we carry on that spirit of resilience and commitment to social change.  

If you are not a member, take a minute to join by following the Join Now link.  If you are a member, please take your membership to the next level by joining a standing committee.  You are the leader(s) that you’ve been looking for!  Don’t look to or for someone else.   We simply cannot afford to be complacent.  By exercising your strengths and talents, your unique stamp will help shape the trajectory and demonstrate how passionate you are about protecting your freedoms.  More importantly, we all become stronger for it. Without that stamp, you are a silent partner who speaks in a whisper, satisfied to simply be a name on a roster.
