The Montclair NAACP Officers and members of the Executive Committee salutes our 2025 Thurgood Marshall honoree, Dr. Carole Layne Willis, a transformative, results-driven champion in the field of education, committed to the advancement of our students!

Dr. Carole Layne Willis will be honored on Friday, October 3, 2025 by the Montclair NAACP for her many years of unwavering leadership and service not only to the Montclair Public Schools but to the Montclair Community as a whole.

As we celebrate our 109th Annual Thurgood Marshall Freedom Dinner & Awards Ceremony, we also pay tribute to the champions that paved the way to the political, social, educational and economic freedoms that we now enjoy.
