FRIDAY JANUARY 6, 2012, 2:49 PM THE MONTCLAIR TIMES

The 23rd annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast will be held on Monday, Jan. 16, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
The breakfast, which will be catered by Ma Dear's, will take place in the atrium of the George Inness Annex of Montclair High School.
The guest speaker will be Thomas Reynolds, president of the Montclair Chapter of the NAACP, who will speak on the topic of youth service to the community.
Reynolds' appearance will be a homecoming in a sense, as he was a 2002 recipient of the scholarship. He is a graduate of The College of Architecture and Design at New Jersey Institute of Technology, and is a commercial architect.
Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door.
